Welcome to Glory Tribe, (UK registered charity 1098030), the ministry led by Rod and Michelle Smith. 

Glory Tribe is a community of small groups who meet for worship, prayer, encouragement, support and study (e.g., creative arts, prophecy, spirit lifestyle etc.). Relationships are very much at the heart of our core values and spending time eating and enjoying each other’s company is important to us, just as it was for Jesus and his disciples.

So where did we get the name? Here is a bit about the meaning: -

‘Glory’ comes from three biblical words:

‘Kabod’ – the heaviness or weight of God

‘Shekinah’ – the dwelling in or settling in of God

‘Doxa’ – God’s honour, renown or splendour

 

‘Tribe’ comes from the Hebrew word ‘Matteh@ - a group of people identified with their leader’s staff – ie.  God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Mentoring

Michelle has been a mentor and lifestyle coach for more than 20 years. Her passion is to help others grow in their understanding of and greatly improve their spirit, soul, and body health. She also loves to train and equip others in the prophetic and dream interpretation.  These can be done on an individual or small group basis.

Israel & Middle East

We recognise that Israel, like all nations, has its faults and failings. Yet it is a nation (albeit often rebellious in history) that was chosen by God through Abraham to be a blessing to the world (Genesis 22:18).

 

Jesus, the Jew, was the fulfilment of that promise and died that we may have his Life. We believe that Christians have not become God’s people in place of the Jews (known as replacement theology) but that we have been grafted into God’s People who are now made up of Jews and Gentiles.

 

Jesus said (John 14:6) that He is the Way, the Truth and Life and no one comes to the Father except by Him. This is the core of our beliefs.
